The Buddha was said to have attained nirvana when he awoke from his meditation. His body no longer had the physical effects of aging after he accomplished his goal. He had found peace in the end. That peace is something that many of us seek, but don't know how to find.

We strive for it, but never attain it. The Buddha's peace can be ours if we stop striving for it, and instead simply live in the moment, following the path of the Buddha's teachings.
